1 liter of rust texture paste is sufficient for approx. 1.5–3 m², depending on the application thickness.
• For 2–3 large canvases with a strong texture
• For several sculptures or objects with a sculptural application

For a thin application or partial accentuation, the coverage increases significantly. Multi-layered work reduces the area accordingly but enhances the depth effect of the rust look.

1. Prepare the surface:
The surface must be clean, dry, dust-free and grease-free. Remove loose old paint.

2. Check the surface:
Absorbent surfaces can be slightly pre-wetted or primed if necessary.

3. Apply the paste:
Apply the rust texture paste with a spatula, brush or sponge. Work in one or more layers depending on the desired effect.

4. Combine colors:
For a realistic rust look, use Rust Brown and Rust Orange partially or on top of each other.

5. Let dry:
Allow to dry completely between coats to build up texture and depth.

6. Further processing:
After drying, the surface can be further designed or sealed.
