Direct, prolonged sunlight can, depending on the product, lead to slight changes in the effect. For small signs of wear or scratches, affected areas can be touched up locally with the original product. For heavily used surfaces such as furniture or door frames, sealing with clear lacquer is also recommended to permanently protect the shine.
