With Green Home Banana Soil, you create the perfect conditions for tropical plants – whether in the garden, in raised beds, or in pots. The specially developed mixture of perlite, coconut fibers, and bark humus ensures a loose structure, promotes moisture regulation, and effectively prevents waterlogging – ideal for banana trees, palm trees, citrus plants, and other exotic species.

The banana soil contains a balanced combination of NP 23-14, NPK 14-10-18, and Compactate 19-5-13, which provides your plants with all important nutrients immediately and long-term. This strengthens root formation, promotes leaf growth, and supports healthy fruit development – also ideal for potted plants and raised beds.

Perfect water retention & drainage

Thanks to perlite and coconut fibers, water is stored and distributed evenly without waterlogging. This prevents root rot – even during dry periods, the plant's water balance remains balanced.

18 liters are sufficient, for example, for
• 1 small to medium-sized banana plant in a pot, or
• several smaller exotic plants

36 liters are ideal for

The structurally stable mixture ensures even moisture supply and a permanently loose root environment – even with strong growth.

1. Prepare the planter or bed:
Clean the pot, container, or bed. For containers with drainage holes, add a drainage layer.

2. Fill with soil:
Loosely fill with banana soil, do not compact.

3. Plant:
Plant the banana plant, fill with soil, and press down lightly.

4. Water thoroughly:
Water thoroughly, allowing excess water to drain away.

5. Care:
Water regularly, avoid waterlogging. After a few weeks, fertilize additionally if needed.
