Thanks to the high perlite content, excess water drains reliably. The Cactus & Succulent Soil remains loose, prevents waterlogging, and protects sensitive roots from rot – especially important for desert plants like cacti or drought-loving succulents.

The combination of coconut fibers, bark humus, white peat, and wood fibers ensures a stable, permeable substrate. It provides sufficient moisture retention but also prevents overwatering – for an ideal balance in the root area.

That's how the preparation goes

1. Prepare the container:
Choose a pot or container with drainage holes, optionally add a drainage layer of expanded clay pellets or gravel.

2. Fill with soil:
Loosely fill with cactus & succulent soil – do not compact.

3. Plant:
Insert the cactus or succulent and fill with soil.

4. Water lightly:
After planting, water sparingly – only water again when the soil has completely dried out.

5. Care:
Avoid waterlogging, fertilize sparingly if necessary.
