The sizing milk is applied thinly and evenly with a soft brush. After a drying time of about 5–10 minutes, the surface becomes tacky but no longer wet. In this state, the metal leaf can be carefully applied and pressed on.

After drying to a tacky state, the size remains adhesive for a certain period, allowing the leaf metal to be positioned at leisure. This enables precise work, even with delicate details or larger areas.

For decorative indoor applications, a sealant is not strictly necessary. However, for surfaces subject to more wear or for additional protection, a transparent protective varnish or a suitable sealant is recommended to prevent abrasion and oxidation.

Yes, LM Creative Size is very user-friendly and suitable for both beginners and experienced creatives. The water-based formula is easy to apply, correct, and, if necessary, wash out with water as long as it has not yet dried.
