I didn’t think I would like this wood stain as much as I did. I have a lot of wood trim in my older house that is stained cherry. There are a few areas that my puppy had accidents on that the cleaner took the stain off. This stain was very easy to use. It is a thicker formula so a little goes a long way. I was able to stain the top part of the step and it blends in very well. This is a water-based stain so my paintbrush rinsed perfectly with just some soap and water. The jar provided would probably do a few more moldings and trim in the house. I’m guessing it would also be enough to stain a small table. All I did to prep the surface was make sure it was clean of dust and I shook the jar well. I then just took a bristle brush and went with the grain of the wood, and it turned out very well. I like how thick the stain was and that it did not drip. I was also able to go over the stained area a few times to thin it out. I believe the stain will get darker once I add a second coat. This stain also dries pretty quickly like within an hour. Just an overall really nice stain.
Ok wood stain. It took a lot of staining and restraining to achieve the dark effect I was hoping to achieve. Felt like it wasnt as readyily staining as some other stains I've used. It works overall but expect to do many coats between letting the coats dry properly.
