Phase 1: Germination (Week 1–2)

The first two weeks are crucial for a clean start to your grow. This system eliminates all technical hurdles for you.

1. Prepare the swelling pellet: Place a swelling pellet in lukewarm, low-lime water until it has fully expanded (approx. 5–10 minutes). Then gently squeeze out excess water.

2. Insert the seed: Using a clean tool, make a small hole (approx. 5 mm deep) in the swelling pellet, insert the seed with the tip facing down, and carefully cover it.

3. Choose a location: Place the swelling pellet in a warm, bright, but not directly sunny spot. An ambient temperature of 22–25 °C is ideal.

4. Keep moist, not wet: Over the next 3–7 days, keep the swelling pellet consistently moist – but never dripping wet. As soon as the seedling is 2–4 cm tall and shows its first true leaves, it is ready for the fabric pot.

Why this works: Swelling pellets create an oxygen-rich microclimate that prevents the most common germination errors – too much water, too little air – from the outset.

Phase 2: Transfer to the fabric pot (Transition Week 2–3)

The move to the fabric pot is when your plant first goes to its final outdoor location.

1. Fill the pot: Fill the fabric pot with approx. 24 liters of cannabis soil, forming a hollow in the center.

2. Insert the seedling: Place the swelling pellet with the seedling completely into the hollow – do not touch the roots.

3. Press down, do not compact: Cover with soil and gently press down, without compacting the soil.

4. To the outdoor location: Water gently and place the pot in its final spot – at least 6 hours of direct sun per day, ideally with a south or west orientation and some wind protection.

Phase 3: Vegetative Phase (Week 3–6)

Now your plant develops visibly. In this phase, it's all about consistency rather than constant intervention.

1. Water as needed: Only water when the top layer of soil is visibly dry. Cannabis tolerates a short dry period much better than waterlogging.

2. Apply growth fertilizer: From approx. week 3, add growth fertilizer to the watering can according to the dosage instructions – typically every 5–7 days.

3. Observe, don't intervene: Pay attention to leaf color, growth habit, and soil moisture. Cannabis tolerates pauses better than overzealousness.

Phase 4: Flowering Phase (from approx. Week 7)

As soon as the first flower buds become visible, the system switches to the second fertilization phase.

1. Change fertilizer: Switch from growth to flowering fertilizer as soon as the first white pistils appear.

2. Increase water quantity: Plants now need more water, but still no waterlogging.

3. Weather observation: In case of continuous rain, hail, or storm, temporarily move the pot to a sheltered location. The carrying handles of the fabric pots make moving them uncomplicated.

Phase 5: Harvest (End of Season)

Harvest readiness is reached when most trichomes (resin crystals on the flowers) have changed color.

1. Identify harvest time: Most trichomes should be milky white to slightly amber – best checked with a small magnifying glass (e.g., 60×).

2. Drying: Hang the plant upside down in a dry, dark, well-ventilated place for 7–14 days to dry. Optimal conditions are approx. 18–22 °C and 50–60 % humidity.

3. Curing for aroma and effect: Place dried flowers in airtight jars and air them briefly daily for the first 2 weeks ("burping"). This noticeably improves aroma, effect, and shelf life.
